Zonta International Zonta is a global women’s service organisation for professional women. Their mission is to advance the status of women worldwide. Currently, there are approximately 800 Zontians in 28 individual clubs throughout New Zealand. Worldwide there are 33,000 members consisting of 1200 clubs in 68 countries. The South Auckland club consists of approximately 50 members and the clubs district spans from East Tamaki to Pokeno. Our MissionZonta International seeks to:
Provide service globally and locally.
Improve the legal, political, economic, health, educational and professional status of women.
Work for the advancement of understanding, goodwill and peace through the world fellowship of executives in business and the professions.
Promote justice and the universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
Be united internationally to foster high ethical, implement service programs, and provide mutual support and fellowship for members who serve their communities, their nations and the universe.
